The House, Grounds and Tea Bar are currently closed to the public following the government guidelines. However, we are offering limited prebookable picnic hampers to enjoy within the grounds.

Treat yourselves to a picnic in the park, simply book a time and collect your individual hamper from the Orangery within the grounds. Ample space to park, relax and take in the beautiful views of the stately home and lake. Just bring along your picnic blanket or chairs and we will supply the picnic hamper.
Bookings will be limited. £18.50 per adult £11 per child (includes VAT), includes entry to the grounds from 1.30pm to 5pm. Our individual picnic hampers will be filled with a selection of sandwiches, cheese straws, scone with clotted cream and jam, lemon drizzle cake and a chocolate brownie.
To book, please email firstname.lastname@example.org confirming the hamper collection time of 1.30pm, 2.30pm or 3.30pm. Gluten-free and vegetarian menu on request. Advance booking only and payment (BACS transfer only) required by Midday the Wednesday beforehand.
Opening measures listed below:
- Maximum of 6 people per group/booking as per government guidelines
- Pre booked picnics to be enjoyed on the south or west lawn – please note individual picnic areas are not marked out, groups to comply with the 2metre social distancing protocols throughout their visit.
- Both entrances open, parking directions on arrival.
- Tea and coffee facilities (disposable cup) will be provided for you to help yourself
- Toilets will be open
- Please bring your own picnic blankets and/or chairs
- Critically, please do not visit Avington Park if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or should be self-isolating.
- Grounds only open for those who have pre booked the afternoon tea.
- Avington Park House will remain closed to the public.
- Dogs on leads welcome
